I don't usually post beauty related things and I still haven't made up my mind whether it should be a regular thing, but since reading loads of beauty blogs which have featured favourites of the week, I thought I shall give it a shot. In fact this weeks favourite products are staples in your beauty routine (well they are in mine) so I hope it shall help if your needing new products in your regime - So VOILA.
1) This Avene extremely gently cleanser is my all time favourite. Since having sensitive skin, I find it particularly hard (because my skin doesn't agree with certain ingredients) to find that amazing cleanser that just makes your skin look so soft and beautiful, ya know what I mean? But since discovering this one, I haven't stopped loving it! You put how much you want - bit bigger than a pea size, onto your finger tips and massage it into DRY skin and take it off with a cotton pad. I find that since you're not applying water to remove it, your skin won't feel tense and dehydrated since sometimes water can dry out your skin. Avene overall are a brilliant range especially for sensitive skin, but I suppose it will work just as well on normal skin.
2 & 3) At Christmas time I received a soap and glory body pamper make up bag which contained lots of soap and glory products. Only this week have I been using their Scrub of your Life body scrub and the Glad Hair Day hair shampoo. The scrub is a fab exfoliator and leaves your skin feel like a baby's bum and smelling dreamy. The hair shampoo really is a life saver which also leaves your hair smelling gorgeous, but for me really cleans my hair and I find that the length of my hair getting dirty is reduced!
4) Mascara! You can never go wrong will an amazing mascara! Especially with this 17 Peep Show mascara. The no clumps mascara is very lengthening and gives you those fluttery lashes that every girl dreams for. I don't think the product is aimed to volumize but simply to achieve long and lush lashes! It makes my eyes look bigger so has been a life saver this week!
5) Last and not least probably my favourite product I couldn't have lived without this week - Simple Radiance Brightening moisturiser. Now, this product was recently dugged out from my beauty bag so has recently been re-discovered. I bought this about 2 years ago and I'm surprised it's still going! I'm not sure boots even sell it anymore (I couldn't find it on there web site) but I know there are some amazing dupes! I bought this because I said to my Mum that my face was looking dull lol. It gives a subtle glowing shine and makes me look more awake and alive.
All of these products can be found in boots and are affordable. The photo is taken by moi. These products have not been sent by the brands so that I can promote them - they are genuinely my favourites yay.
Great picks, Soap and Glory have some lovely stuff recently!
